Hello. I’m Hassan, The Director of Liv Organic and Natural Market. We’ve had a great response to the store over the past 9 months but people still want to know more about our story. I want to tell that story through the people, places and plants that create the Liv Organic experience. Both I and my team put a lot of effort into serving our customers so I’ll be describing what we’re working on “behind the scenes”, including exclusive news on what’s coming up. I’ll also highlight our relationships with our producers and suppliers to give greater insight into the care and attention we take into sustainably sourcing products. As well as caring about global food communities we are resolutely focussed on supporting our local community so I will blog about what we are doing for local causes including the homeless in Liverpool as well as how we’re helping the local community and local growers. Finally, as our Eatery is receiving rave reviews (http://www.goodtastemagazines.co.uk/liverpool-best-places-vegan-food/), you can expect to hear about some of our favourite recipes and those of guest bloggers. February was a busy month with Pancake Day & Valentine’s Day promotions. We got our locally grown produce from LYNCROFT FARM LTD, Organic Food Grower, in Ormskirk. Liv Organic will be stocking their organic produce in our vegetable section to ensure we are supporting local growers. Lastly, I’ve been concentrating on the launch of our new organic Pasta restaurant “La Casa Della Pasta” scheduled for March 2018. We’ll be replacing our Deli with a live Italian kitchen and we’re expanding our seating area to make more room for Italian food-loving diners. We’ve recruited two, highly-skilled Italian Chefs who’ll be preparing dishes from scratch in front of the customer, working with only the freshest organic produce. We’ve sourced the finest organic ingredients from Italy – doubly milled flour (for greater refinement) and Parmigiano Reggiano Parmesan cheese for their authentic taste. We are catering for gluten free customers by using Buckwheat and utilising separate preparation and cooking arrangements to prevent cross contamination. We’ll be trialling a few exclusive pasta dishes in mid-February and would love your feedback on them. All in all, I do hope you will enjoy and engage with this feature and continue the conversation with us on social media Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Yours in Organic Service
Hassan
